The “Prix Blanche” Prize 2016

Logo (4)In 2015, the first “Prix Blanche” prize whose set of themes “around Bonnard” brought together about thirty painters, met a real success near the public come many to admire the exposure of the award-winnings to the house of Pierre Bonnard at the time as of days from the heritage.
The Price White 2015 “Around Bonnard” was supported by the Museum of Impressionisms, the Musée d’Orsay, the museum of Vernon, the town of Vernon, the gastronomical Hotel restaurant “Le jardin des plumes”, Sennelier, the “rouges gorges” B&B and the association of the Boat Workshop.

Opening of Galerie Blanche Saturday April 2nd, 2016

La galerie Blanche a ouvert ses portes samedi 2 avril en accueillant les deux lauréates du prix Blanche 2015 autour d’un vernissage qui a réuni une quarantaine de personnes . Une interview filmée des 2 artistes retrace leurs impressions sur ce concours hors norme autour de  l’artiste  peintre Pierre Bonnard. Une exposition à voir absolument .

Galerie Blanche opened Saturday, April 2 by accommodating the two prizes winner of the price White 2015 around a opening which brought together about forty people. A filmed interview of the 2 artists recalls their impressions on this untypical competition related to the painter Pierre Bonnard. A must see exhibition.

Christine’s work and personality have only recently come to light. And yet she’s not a beginner, having been studying painting for the past 10 years through diverse classes such as visual arts, acrylic or oil painting. At the moment she is really into knife painting, a technique she finds more intense physically but one which allows for a greater freedom of movement.

Claude Miquel likes Giverny, a place she has visited both during Fall and Spring in the past, for its very colourful atmosphere coming from both the garden of Claude Monet and the house itself, today home of Claude Monet’s Foundation.
